Job summary

Thomas Young Group seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead design efforts for a growing Dallas office, with flexible remote work options. You will work on data centers, healthcare, and life sciences projects, mentoring junior engineers and building a local high-performing team.

You will collaborate across disciplines, present technical concepts to varied stakeholders, and help drive quality, schedule, and client satisfaction in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Qualifications

• PE licensure is required and active.
• Demonstrated leadership in mechanical design for complex building projects.
• Strong collaboration across disciplines and fast-paced teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide technical development.
• Excellent communication of technical concepts to varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design efforts across a diverse portfolio of building projects.
• Coordinate with disciplines and project managers to drive delivery.
• Mentor and develop the Dallas team’s engineering capabilities.
• Write and present technical and executive reports for stakeholders.
• Support client relationships, QA, and project success.
