Job summary

Thomas Young Group in Dallas is seeking a Project Manager to own complex MEP projects and build strong client relationships as the local team grows.

You'll lead projects from design through construction, coordinating mechanical, electrical, plumbing and other disciplines, while managing scope, schedules, budgets and deliverables in a mission-critical data center environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of engineering or project management experience.
• Experience managing complex multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and project delivery.
• Mission critical or data center experience preferred.
• Industrial or similarly complex project experience considered.
• Experience leading teams and managing client relationships.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• PMP or PE certification would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage MEP projects across the mission critical and data center market.
• Take ownership of project scope, schedules, budgets and deliverables.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing and other design disciplines.
• Lead projects from design through construction and closeout.
• Manage client expectations and maintain strong relationships throughout delivery.
• Review designs, RFIs, submittals and construction documentation.
• Identify project risks and resolve technical or delivery issues.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants and internal engineering teams.
• Support proposals and business development as the Dallas office expands.
