Job summary

MLT Systems in Stafford, VA, is seeking a Senior-Level Mechanical or Electrical Engineer to join our team, providing mission-critical engineering services to the PM AAA. This role focuses on the Production and Deployment (P&D) and Operations and Sustainment (O&S) phases of the Department of War’s Acquisition Lifecycle for the Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV) family.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited).
• 6-8 years of relevant DoD/DoW experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical/electrical engineering efforts to diagnose complex field issues.
• Author, review and evaluate ECPs, RFCs and RFVs with focus on weight, reliability and maintainability.
• Analyze PQDRs and field telemetry to identify trends and prevent failures.
• RAM optimization: work with logistics to refine preventive maintenance and diagnostics trees.
• Witness testing, validate modifications, and participate in PCAs.
• Review technical manuals and depot-level repair instructions for accuracy.
