Job summary

JE Dunn Construction's Advanced Facilities Group in Atlanta is seeking an experienced M/E Engineer 3 to perform mechanical, electrical and field construction activities on large projects. You will collect data, develop estimates and generate bid analyses to support preconstruction efforts.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering and 5+ years of construction/engineering experience, with strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant engineering field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years construction and/or engineering experience preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Performs increasingly complex mechanical, electrical and field construction activities.
• Develops budgetary M/E estimates based on program and schematic design information.
• Reviews mechanical and electrical options and conducts systems analysis for projects.
• Coordinates M/E scopes of work during the bid process and develops sequencing requirements.
• Assists with bid analysis and subcontractor selection.
• Supports commissioning and quality control processes.
