Job summary

Hoffman Construction Company is seeking a Construction Manager - Mechanical Dry Systems to lead the on-site mechanical team on large hi-tech projects. The role focuses on coordinating HVAC, electrical, and mechanical activities, ensuring installation schedules are met, and providing technical guidance at the field office.

The candidate will oversee subcontractors, manage budgets, and support startup and commissioning activities while coordinating with design professionals and clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years mechanical construction experience.
• Experience in industrial/hi-tech semiconductor projects is required.
• Experience in live high-tech facilities preferable.
• Strong understanding of MEP coordination and field leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HVAC/exhaust subcontractor and vendor installation to maintain schedule.
• Coordinate MEP systems with civil, architectural, and structural elements.
• Lead startup activities and coordinate client personnel training on MEP systems.
• Review submittals and RFIs for accuracy and functionality.
