Job summary

Honda is seeking an engineer for the V6 engine durability test group within the power unit division. You will test, support design, and bring powertrain components into vehicles while ensuring marketability, reliability, regulatory, profitability, and manufacturing targets are met.

The role emphasizes delivering assignments with minimal guidance and expanding technical knowledge, including training peers and pursuing ongoing education and certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Automotive/Electrical or related STEM field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong data analysis skills and ability to drive vehicle performance

Responsibilities

• Testing, Simulation and Data setting: plan and run tests and simulations and propose countermeasures.
• Data Collection and Analysis: collate and analyse data using preset tools.
• Documentation: prepare sub-system level docs for review as development progresses.
• Project Management: support schedules, meetings, updates and budgets.
• Personal Development: pursue training, certifications, and knowledge growth.
