Job summary

IMEG, a leading engineering consultancy, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Designer in Cincinnati, Ohio to lead project management and design delivery for moderate to complex mechanical systems across industrial, manufacturing, and MEP sectors.

You will collaborate with engineers and consultants, mentor staff, manage schedules and billing, ensure quality, and support client relationships while delivering energy-efficient designs aligned with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 7+ years in building design; 11+ years in building design or construction preferred.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, oversee, and manage projects of varying size and complexity.
• Create project schedules with milestones and deadlines.
• Lead project meetings and provide meeting documentation.
• Mentor staff and manage client relationships.
• Ensure designs meet owner and IMEG standards and applicable codes.
• Monitor billing and financial projections.
