Job summary

Sargent & Lundy in Englewood, Colorado is seeking a Senior Designer 1 to lead advanced mechanical design projects. You will manage complex deliverables, support field activities, and mentor less experienced staff in a hybrid work environment: three days in the office, two days remote.

The ideal candidate has ten or more years of mechanical design experience, proficiency with design software, and a successful track record in multidisciplinary project coordination.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of detailed physical design experience in mechanical general arrangements, piping systems, and supports.
• High proficiency with 3D plant layout and mechanical design software tools.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate mechanical design deliverables and guide junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate complex mechanical physical layout drawings.
• Lead design assignments involving mechanical systems.
• Review equipment outlines and coordinate development of design deliverables.
