Job summary

INSPYR Solutions seeks a Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer to lead a hands-on mechanical design team developing electro-mechanical products and equipment packages. You will set priorities, allocate resources, and guide design reviews to ensure performance, cost, and schedule targets are met.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive 3D CAD expertise, and collaboration with cross-functional teams including Electrical, Operations, and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required.
• At least 10 years of electro-mechanical design experience in industrial settings.
• Experience leading mechanical designers, assigning work, and managing performance.
• Advanced proficiency with 3D CAD and product data management tools.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise and develop the Mechanical Design team.
• Plan resources and balance workloads across active projects.
• Lead design reviews, risk assessments, and project planning.
• Coordinate with Electrical Engineers on layouts and cooling.
• Ensure manufacturability, quality, and field installation readiness.
