Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Minimum of 3+ years of mechanical design experience in an industrial setting.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally; travel is limited.
• Experience reviewing drawings, calculations, and vendor documentation.
• Proficiency with 2D/3D CAD software (AutoCAD, Inventor).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred or actively pursued.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical and structural design of dredging equipment from concept through fabrication and commissioning.
• Manage project schedules and budgets; provide technical leadership to a small design team.
• Review engineering calculations and drawings; stamp drawings when required.
• Collaborate with fabrication, production, field service, vendors, and customers.
• Develop and execute testing plans; support field installation and commissioning.
