Genie Matthews and Associates is seeking a Senior Product Design Engineer for a client in the United States. The role focuses on designing and developing precision products and custom assemblies from concept through production release, combining mechanical design, analysis, prototyping, and customer collaboration.

You will create and manage 3D CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and design documentation while performing calculations, material selection, tolerance analysis, and risk assessments.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Significant design experience with mechanical products or assemblies through release.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD, drawings, GD&T, and change control.
• Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturability, interfaces, and design verification.

Responsabilidades

• Translate customer requirements into product specifications and design concepts.
• Create and maintain CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and design docs.
• Perform calculations, material selection, tolerance analysis, and risk assessments.
• Design components with temperature, pressure, sealing, interfaces, and manufacturability in mind.
• Develop prototype and validation plans, interpret test results, and refine designs.
