Confident Search Consultants is seeking a Senior Product Design Engineer for a manufacturer of temperature sensors and precision assemblies. You will design and develop precision products from concept through production release, combining mechanical design, analysis, prototype evaluation, and close collaboration with customers and manufacturing teams.

The role emphasizes 3D CAD modeling, GD&T, tolerance analysis, and detailed documentation.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Progressive experience designing mechanical products through production release.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD, detailed drawings, GD&T, tolerance analysis, and change control.
• Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing methods, interfaces, and verification.
• Ability to independently manage technical work and collaborate across functions.

Responsabilidades

• Translate customer requirements into product specifications and design concepts.
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and documentation.
• Perform calculations, material selection, tolerance analysis, and risk assessments.
• Design components with temperature, pressure, sealing, interfaces, and manufacturability in mind.
• Develop prototypes and validation plans, evaluate results, refine designs.
• Lead or contribute to design reviews and resolve technical issues with teams.
• Support NPI, engineering changes, and troubleshooting in production or field.
• Provide technical guidance to engineers and improve design practices.
