Job summary

Dover Precision Components, Pawcatuck, CT, is seeking a competent mechanical engineer to design and analyze components for multi-market applications. You will perform system-level analyses, develop drawings, and liaise with customers on technical matters.

Required 5-7 years in mechanical design/analysis, strong CAD experience (SolidWorks), and GD&T mastery. Hybrid onsite/remote work 3 days on site, 2 days remote at our Pawcatuck facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5-7 years of mechanical design/analysis experience.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and design practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and communication with customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations and design analysis for mechanical systems.
• Create/interpret manufacturing and assembly drawings.
• Develop relationships with customers' technical contacts and interface on projects.
• Mentor younger engineers and support test programs and validation.
