Job summary

Dover Precision Components is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead engineering content for projects and customer proposals at the Waukesha Bearings office in Pawcatuck, CT. You will perform calculations, develop drawings, and implement design changes for new and existing products with a focus on naval defense applications.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of mechanical design/analysis experience, a BS in mechanical engineering (MS preferred), and strong CAD/FEA skills.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of mechanical design/analysis experience.
• Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles and design practices.

Responsibilities

• System and component level analysis (mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, magnetic).
• Prepare engineering calculations and drawings; support ECNs and manufacturing release.
• Interface with customers to resolve technical matters and support proposals.
• Mentor new engineers and contribute to test procedures and specifications.
• Develop test rigs and measurement systems; optimize processes.
