Job summary

Qnity in the United States is seeking a Mechanical Design & Analysis Engineer to design and analyze metal components and drive manufacturable solutions for key customers. You will create 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks or Creo, run FEA with Abaqus or similar, and collaborate with sales and manufacturing to meet performance targets and DFMEA requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or technical field.
• Experience/knowledge in manufacturing processes preferred.
• 5+ years of experience around precision metals, board-level shields, and EMI solutions
• 8+ years of design experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze metal components for manufacturability and performance.
• Create 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks or Creo.
• Perform FEA using Abaqus or similar multiphysics tools.
• Lead design-for-manufacturability assessments and DFMEA inputs.
• Collaborate with sales, manufacturing, and customers to meet targets and timelines.
• Support production in resolving manufacturing challenges.
