You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with software, electrical, and systems teams, and apply advanced FEA to maximize performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 15+ years in fuel cell R&D and product development within SOFC/high-temperature space.
• 10+ years in mechanical design with SolidWorks/Inventor proficiency.
• 10+ years applying advanced FEA (Ansys, SW Simulation, Algor).
• 10+ years using high-temperature materials to enhance durability.
• 5+ years of GD&T and high-volume manufacturing design experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design, development and optimization of next-generation systems.
• Drive designs from concept through production with CAD data integrity.
• Lead prototyping of high-temperature components like heat exchangers and gas handling parts.
• Use FEA to optimize thermal management and power density.
• Mentor engineers, manage schedules, and coordinate with HW/SW teams for safe, certified designs.
