Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer in Phoenix, AZ, with a focus on leading mechanical design for gas turbine engines and guiding a team of engineers. The role emphasizes collaboration with customers, internal teams, and a strong culture of continuous improvement.

The candidate will report to the Sr Mechanical Design Engineering Manager, operate in a hybrid schedule, and contribute to the Overhaul Engineering group within GROE to support an FAA-certified repair

Formación

• BS in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Aerospace engineering from an accredited university.
• 10+ years of aerospace MRO experience for propulsion engines.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead mechanical design activities for gas turbine engine programs.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers.
• Drive productivity and cost-reduction initiatives via standardized processes.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve issues.
