Hydrasearch Company in Stevensville, MD is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead design, development and continuous improvement of fluid-transfer components and mechanical hardware for demanding commercial, aerospace, and defense applications. You will work hands-on, guiding projects from requirements and design through validation, production and lifecycle support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required.
• 5+ years of engineering experience in mechanical design or product development.
• Strong problem‑solving and ability to communicate with technical and non‑technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead product development from requirements through validation and production release.
• Design and improve mechanical components and assemblies with 3D CAD models and drawings.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality and suppliers to resolve technical issues.
• Drive improvements in quality, reliability, manufacturability and cost.
• Provide guidance to engineers and drafters and support design reviews.
