Job summary

Sensata Technologies is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer for the North America Automotive High-Voltage Engineering team in Attleboro, MA. You will design contactor solutions for electric vehicle applications and manage customer relationships, ensuring alignment with customer specs and Sensata roadmaps.

You will lead mechanical design activities on cross-functional NPD teams, maintain drawings and specs, and collaborate with manufacturing and suppliers to prototype and validate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing tasks.
• Strong communication, organization and time management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design activities on cross-functional New Product Development teams.
• Interact with customers to solicit specifications, schedule expectations and budget.
• Maintain product documentation (drawings and specifications).
• Assist with design prototype builds and production validation with manufacturing, quality and supply.
• Ensure designs align with Sensata's engineering standards and roadmaps.
