Sensata Technologies in Attleboro, MA seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to collaborate with local and global teams on product design, verification, documentation and production launch. The role focuses on developing high-current circuit breakers, benchmarking to specs, and executing qualification testing while ensuring ITAR/EAR compliance.
You will drive design activities, validation, and release in internal systems, working with suppliers and customers.
The Mechanical Design Engineer collaborates with a local team or global engineering team on product design which satisfy customer specifications. This process includes design, product validation, completing documentation and executing launch items for production. Complete all related drawings, documentation and release in internal systems.
Candidate will develop a high current circuit breaker. This will involve benchmarking to the product specification, optimizing product performance, and running qualification testing of the finished product. This position requires eligibility to obtain authorization under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Non-US Persons, as defined in the ITAR and EAR, may not be eligible to obtain authorization.
Base Salary Range: $84,400.00 - $116,050.00
