Job summary

Aptiv is seeking a Mechanical Product Engineer to develop High Voltage connection systems and fast/charging inlet systems at the Champion Technical Center in Warren, OH. You will work with cross-functional teams to meet automotive specifications and lead projects from concept through production.

You will collaborate with customers and suppliers, drive design reviews, and ensure manufacturability, cost, and material targets while delivering innovative mobility solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.
• 6+ months of experience with basic component design.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop HV connection system technology for automotive applications.
• Expand Inlet portfolio to meet OEM/Tier specs.
• Ensure designs meet manufacturability, cost, and material targets.
• Lead design reviews and manage from concept to production.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers and internal teams on launches.
