Qualifications

• BSME/BSMET degree in a technical field is required.
• 5+ years of professional engineering experience preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD and 3-D modeling software.
• Defense/DoD-engineering background is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designs shelters and mechanical modifications such as rack installations, ECU installations, entry panel installations, and miscellaneous ancillary items.
• Reviews customer requirements including customer specifications, Statements of Work, and interface drawings to ensure compliance with contract.
• Tracks schedules and budgets on assigned programs.
• Interfaces with other departments to resolve questions and technical issues.
• Creates technical proposals, technical materials, and procurement specifications.
