Anduril Industries seeks a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to design, test, and scale mission-critical hardware for autonomous platforms across air, sea, and land. You will own end-to-end hardware development, from concept through prototyping and production, collaborating with Electrical, Manufacturing, Quality, Safety, and Test teams.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years of design experience, strong 3D CAD (SolidWorks/NX/Creo), GD&T expertise, and a U.S. security clearance.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of professional mechanical design experience taking hardware from concept to fabrication and test.
• Proficient in parametric 3D CAD (SolidWorks, NX, or Creo) and PLM/PDM (Teamcenter).
• Working knowledge of ASME Y14.5 GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis.
• Hands-on prototyping and fabrication with root-cause experience.
• Strong engineering fundamentals (statics, dynamics, heat transfer, structural mechanics).
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance (Secret or Top Secret).

Responsabilidades

• End-to-End Hardware Ownership from requirements to volume manufacturing.
• Create high‑fidelity 3D models and 2D drawings per ASME Y14.5 GD&T.
• Collaborate with Electrical, Manufacturing, Quality, Safety, and Test teams and suppliers.
• Perform FEA/hand calculations to validate structural, thermal, vibrational performance.
• Support DFM/DFA to de-risk production bottlenecks and scale throughput.
• Prototype, test plans, and execute environmental, dynamic, bench-top, or live tests.
• Lead cross-functional efforts to resolve urgent hardware bottlenecks.
