Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks exceptional Electromechanical Design Engineers to design, test, and scale mission-critical hardware for autonomous platforms across air, sea, ground, and strike systems.

You will own enclosures, sensor integration, and assemblies from concept through prototyping to volume manufacturing, creating high-fidelity 3D models and detailed drawings. Collaboration across disciplines and suppliers is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in Mechanical, Aerospace or Manufacturing Eng.
• 4+ years of professional mechanical design experience taking hardware from concept through fabrication and test.
• Proficiency in parametric 3D CAD (NX preferred, SolidWorks, or Creo) and PLM environments (Teamcenter).
• ASME Y14.5 GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis knowledge.
• Hands-on prototyping and fabrication experience.
• Experience with DFM/DFA for volume production.
• Defense, maritime, optics, automotive, or regulated hardware experience.
• Eligible for U.S. Security Clearance.
• Up to 15% travel.

Responsibilities

• Own enclosures, sensor integration, and electromechanical assemblies from requirements to production.
• Create high-fidelity 3D models and defined 2D drawing packages.
• Design parts across molding, CNC, weldments, sheet metal, composites and bonding.
• Apply first-principles engineering and FEA/hand calculations for performance validation.
• Perform tolerance stacks, DFMEAs, and early de-risking for production.
• Build prototypes, write test plans, and conduct environmental and bench tests.
• Collaborate with Electrical, Systems, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Quality, Safety, and Test teams and suppliers.
