Job Title: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

What You'll Do
  • Lead mechanical system design for diverse building projects including HVAC, geothermal, plumbing, and energy-efficient technologies.

  • Collaborate with architects and cross-functional engineers to deliver innovative, client-focused solutions.

  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical direction and peer review.

  • Perform energy modeling and life cycle cost analysis to support sustainability goals.

  • Ensure designs meet applicable codes, sustainability certifications (e.g., LEED), and best practices.

  • Engage with clients and project stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into practical recommendations.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (PE license preferred).

  • 7+ years of experience in building mechanical systems design (HVAC, plumbing, thermal systems).

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and energy modeling software (e.g., Trane TRACE, EnergyPlus, or similar).

  • Strong knowledge of local codes, ASHRAE standards, and sustainable design principles.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with a desire to grow within a mission-driven organization.
