About the Company
This role involves contributing to the team responsible for HVAC design of New Nuclear Power Plants. The Mechanical Engineer will work within a team environment, collaborating with a global network of partners and suppliers to advance detailed plant designs and successfully deliver NPP projects. The focus will be on the HVAC design for the BWRX-300 power plant. The engineer will operate in a small team setting, working closely with GE engineers and other partners.
About the Role
The position involves supporting the HVAC design activities for new nuclear power plants, specifically focusing on the BWRX-300. Responsibilities include reviewing vendor documentation, preparing design deliverables such as specifications, piping and instrument diagrams, heat load calculations, and equipment sizing. The role requires managing project schedules and ensuring timely, quality delivery of engineering documentation and equipment packages, in compliance with contract and regulatory standards.
