Job Summary:

The company is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience, specializing in the design and coordination of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems within building environments. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit, with Bluebeam experience considered a plus. This role requires a deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles and the ability to work on multi-disciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems for a variety of building types.
  • Prepare and review engineering drawings and specifications using Revit.
  • Collaborate with architects, electrical engineers, and other stakeholders to coordinate building systems.
  • Conduct site visits and field assessments to verify existing conditions and ensure quality control.
  • Utilize Bluebeam for markup and document coordination when applicable.
  • Support project documentation, scheduling, and budgeting efforts.
  • Stay up to date on relevant codes, standards, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license or EIT on track toward licensure (preferred) but not required.
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering within building systems design.
  • Proficiency in Revit is required – ability to independently produce detailed mechanical system models.
  • Experience with Bluebeam is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of mechanical systems, ASHRAE standards, and local building codes.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
