Job summary

Process Equipment and Controls is seeking a seasoned Mechanical Engineering leader to guide end-to-end design of sophisticated mechanical systems, ensuring performance, reliability, and manufacturability.

You will oversee large programs, manage schedules and budgets, set technical direction, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with electrical, software, and manufacturing teams to drive program success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 7+ years leading cross-functional mechanical development.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD; CAD/CAM experience.
  • Experience with ISO and ASME standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end design of mechanical systems and products, optimizing performance and reliability.
  • Oversee large engineering projects, meeting specifications, schedules and costs.
  • Set technical direction and solve complex issues using data and sound judgment.
  • Plan and conduct analyses and verification testing to validate designs.
  • Approve drawings, models and prototypes per standards and manufacturability.
  • Collaborate with electrical, software, and manufacturing teams; engage clients and suppliers for success.
  • Coach junior and mid-level engineers in best practices and reviews.
  • Champion continuous improvement and modern mechanical engineering trends and tools.

In This Role, You Will

What You’ll Bring To The Team
  • BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 7+ years of experience, including leading cross-functional mechanical development efforts.
  • Mastery of CAD platforms such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD; familiarity with CAD/CAM workflows.
  • Strong background in advanced design, analysis, and manufacturing processes.
  • Proven leadership, project management, and communication capabilities.
  • Track record of handling multiple concurrent initiatives across the product lifecycle.
  • Experience with ISO and ASME standards and regulatory compliance.
Technologies You’ll Touch
  • CNC automation and related manufacturing systems.
  • 3D modeling and 2D documentation using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
  • Industrial controls integration.
