Job summary

Odyssey Information Services in Shawnee, OK, is seeking an enthusiastic Mechanical Engineer to design and develop mechanical components and systems from concept through production. You will create 3D CAD models, drawings, specifications, participate in reviews, support testing and qualification, and collaborate across engineering and manufacturing to drive DFX and cost optimization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 2–4 years of mechanical design or product development experience.
  • Experience creating 3D CAD models and engineering drawings.
  • Proficiency with SolidWorks, Autodesk, or similar CAD software.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced engineering environment.
  • Occasional travel as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mechanical components and systems.

Join an innovative engineering team developing complex mechanical components and systems. This role offers hands‑on involvement throughout the product lifecycle, including design, testing, validation, production support, and continuous improvement.
