Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 7 years of mechanical engineering experience leading projects.
• Deep expertise in CAD (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and CAD/CAM workflows.
• Comprehensive knowledge of advanced mechanical design, analysis, and manufacturing techniques.
• Strong leadership, project management, and clear, proactive communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently across the full product development lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience with regulatory compliance and standards (ISO, ASME).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical authority, providing strategic direction and resolving high-impact engineering challenges.

• Review and approve drawings, models, prototypes, and ECOs to ensure quality and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams---electrical, software, and manufacturing---and coordinate with clients and suppliers.
• Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers on best practices, design reviews, and development methodologies.
• Continuously improve processes and stay current on emerging mechanical engineering methods and tools.

Midweek, you're running advanced simulations to validate performance and reliability, then stepping into a design review to guide junior and mid-level engineers. You sync with electrical, software, and manufacturing partners, keep an eye on scope, schedule, and budget, and close the week approving prototypes and aligning suppliers and clients around the next build.
