Job summary

RK Industries seeks a hands-on Project Superintendent for Mechanical Construction to lead day-to-day execution of complex mechanical systems on commercial and industrial projects. You will oversee field crews, coordinate subcontractors, ensure safety, and drive schedule performance from mobilization to closeout.

Your leadership will align field operations with project managers and foremen, uphold design intent and code compliance, and deliver high-performing teams on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Indirect supervision and guidance to teams.
• Advanced techniques and knowledge within the function.
• Broad knowledge of applicable principles and practices.
• Independent decisions on complex issues and methods.
• Liaison across groups with independent responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety program compliance and interface with RK Mechanical, Inc. safety managers.
• Document corrective measures and ensure implementation.
• Maintain customer satisfaction and public relations liaison.
• Ensure quality craftsmanship on mechanical systems and installations.
• Develop a Master Plan approach for the project.
• Execute, supervise and maintain CPMI.
• Schedule daily and weekly scope of work activities.
• Maintain journeyman to apprentice ratio.
• Resolve conflicts and monitor progress of subcontractors and vendors.
• Coordinate jurisdictional inspections and relationships with inspectors.
• Review and update Labor Hours/Job Costs weekly with project management.
• Assist with schedule preparation and SIP, including resource/budget allocations.
• Maintain complete project documentation for inspection.
