Job summary

RK Industries is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to plan, coordinate, and execute complex construction projects. You will collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field crews to review drawings, manage RFIs, and support submittals, procurement, and quality control.

The role emphasizes safe, on‑time delivery within budget, requiring strong mechanical expertise, problem solving, and clear communication to keep design and field teams aligned throughout all project phases.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning mechanical construction projects.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and contracts.
• Strong communication with PMs and field teams.
• Familiarity with RFIs, submittals, and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and coordinate activities of designated mechanical construction projects.
• Manage budgeting and scheduling; administer contracts and change orders.
• Review and process submittals, RFIs, and procurement documentation.
• Ensure permits, licenses, and safety requirements are met on site.
• Maintain accurate project valuations and billing schedules.
