Job summary

RK Mechanical, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to lead technical planning and execution on designated construction projects. You will review drawings, manage RFIs, support submittals, procurement, and quality control to ensure systems are delivered with precision.

You will collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and field teams to resolve challenges, maintain schedule, and control costs, while upholding safety and craftsmanship standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in mechanical construction or related field.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Experience managing budgets and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day project operations and field staff.
• Review and administer project documentation, contracts, and change orders.
• Manage procurement, subcontractor oversight, and scheduling.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with project specs.
• Prepare monthly cost reporting and forecast cashflow.
• Coordinate with design teams to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain project records and correspondence.
