Job summary

Batchelor & Kimball is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale construction efforts across the Southeast and beyond. The role requires strong leadership, independence, and the ability to partner with field PMs, GCs and owners.

You will oversee pre-construction, scheduling, budgets, subcontractor negotiations, and cost reporting, while coordinating with engineers and architects to resolve design conflicts and keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or 10+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Construction Management, Construction Science, Mechanical Engineering, or similar degree highly preferred
• Minimum of 4 years leading large multi-million-dollar complex construction projects

Responsibilities

• Lead and consult with field project managers, general contractors (GCs) and owners. Build and nurture relationships to ensure project success.
• Manage the pre-construction, preplanning, and construction scheduling process. Leverage relationships to grow the business.
• Negotiate and contract subcontractors; manage budgets and cash flow.
• Coordinate with engineers and architects to resolve design conflicts and determine project specifications.
• Lead cost reporting, change orders, and monthly cost projections.
