Job summary

BL Harbert International is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to lead the execution of complex HVAC, sheet metal, and piping projects in our Tampa, FL portfolio. You will drive safety, schedule, and cost performance while coordinating with owners, general contractors, engineers, and field teams to deliver projects per contract documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Building Construction, or related field.
• 3–5 years of mechanical construction project management experience.
• Equivalent combinations of relevant mechanical trade experience may be considered.
• Experience managing mechanical scopes involving HVAC, sheet metal, ductwork, plumbing, piping, and mechanical equipment installation.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall execution of assigned mechanical construction projects from award through completion and closeout.
• Develop, implement, and maintain a project execution plan addressing scope, schedule, budget, procurement, quality, safety, and staffing requirements.
• Coordinate with owners, general contractors, engineers, subcontractors, and field personnel to align with contract documents and project schedule.
• Oversee procurement, subcontractor activities, change management, and cost control.
• Ensure commissioning, testing, and turnover of mechanical systems meet project requirements.
