Job summary

BL Harbert is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to lead HVAC, sheet metal, ductwork, piping, and equipment installation on complex projects. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Building Construction, or a related field, with 3–5 years of mechanical PM experience.
• Equivalent combinations of relevant mechanical trade experience and project management may be considered.
• Experience managing HVAC, sheet metal, ductwork, plumbing, piping, and mechanical equipment installation.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall execution of mechanical construction projects from award to closeout.
• Develop and maintain a project execution plan addressing scope, schedule, budget, procurement, quality, safety and staffing.
• Coordinate with field supervision, general contractors, engineers, subcontractors, and owners to ensure scope aligns with contract requirements.
• Monitor progress, manage change and ensure compliance with drawings, specs, codes, and BL Harbert standards.
• Lead procurement, subcontracting, risk management, testing, commissioning, and project turnover activities.
