Job summary

Power Design in Florida is seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Manager to guide project teams and drive opportunities for future construction through superior customer service and execution. You will oversee high-stakes mechanical projects, maintain relationships with clients, and ensure quality, safety, and on-time delivery across multiple sites.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive HVAC knowledge, and a proven ability to manage budgets and schedules in a fast-paced, hybrid work

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of project management experience in mechanical/plumbing contracting for commercial/high-rise/multi-family sectors.
• Ability to read and interpret complex HVAC plans (VRF/VRF, DX Split, water source heat pumps, chilled water, duct work).
• Strong planning, scheduling, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all business aspects of multiple concurrent Mechanical projects and meet financial targets.
• Supervise and mentor project managers, assistant PMs, and project engineers.
• Oversee field supervisors, including training, scheduling, and performance reviews.
• Maintain customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and quality of service.
• Handle materials, budgeting, production, and resource planning for projects.
• Plan and schedule resources to meet milestones.
• Liaise with customers and staff on scope changes and milestones.
• Manage project correspondence and documents in PM systems.
• Uphold Power Design quality, safety, and best practices.
