Job summary

Beyond New Horizons is seeking a Senior Mechanical Construction Engineer to support the Test Operations and Sustainment contract at Arnold AFB, TN. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to maintain and sustain USAF test operations and facilities.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management background, strong communication, and the ability to manage complex construction activities with adherence to codes and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences including management, coworkers, clients, vendors and visitors.
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable codes and standards.
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Execute construction engineering programs and coordinate with client, design engineer, and project team.
• Prepare material take-offs and requisitions to support the project schedule.
• Coordinate construction activities and prepare punch lists for turnover to client.
• Provide technical interpretation of design documents and support for construction managers.
