Job summary

Beyond New Horizons (BNH) at Arnold Air Force Base, TN, seeks a Senior Staff Engineer for Propulsion Assets to lead expert electrical engineering efforts in test operations and sustainment. You will guide current operations and future capital projects, bridging legacy facility knowledge with modern asset management.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering and at least 15 years in aerospace test environments, and you must be able to obtain DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive engineering experience in aerospace/test environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert level technical support for current and investment-related projects in the Propulsion mission area (e.g., A-Exhaust modes, T11 Independent Air Planning, Outage Backfeeds, VFSS controls installation and checkout).
• Share technical expertise and lessons learned with less experienced engineers on maintenance, operation, and sustainment of plant/test assets.
• Provide technical consultations to management or the Engineering Advisory Board.
• Advise senior management on technical and programmatic issues as requested.
