Job summary

Sterling Industrial, LLC in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Mechanical BOP Project Engineer to lead design review, estimating coordination, OEM coordination, and technical oversight for the mechanical scope of a major hydro EPC project.

The role supports EPC execution through design development, interface management, constructability, and commissioning support for underground powerhouse, shafts, tunnels, and surface facilities.

Qualifications

• BS (or MS) in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute.
• Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in MEP construction for large power/industrial projects.
• Experience supporting powerhouse or BOP systems on at least two medium to large EPC power projects.

Responsibilities

• Design review and estimation coordination for mechanical systems and equipment.
• Coordinate mechanical interfaces with Civil/Geotechnical and Architectural.
• Interface with OEMs for project integration.
• Provide Construction & Commissioning support during execution.
• Participate in design reviews, constructability reviews, HAZID/HAZOP.
