Job summary

Aerotek in Memphis, TN is seeking a Mechanical Assembler III to join the production team on a first shift contract‑to‑hire basis. You will perform non‑routine mechanical assembly on an assembly line, following visual aids, instructions, and BOMs while using hand and power tools.

You will reference engineering drawings, execute ECOs, document issues, and collaborate with teammates to meet production goals. Overtime and some Saturdays may be required; the role offers weekly pay and a comprehensive

Qualifications

At least 1 year of experience in mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly.
Ability to read and follow instructions.
Proficiency with hand tools and electrical screwdrivers.
Experience with rivet guns and air compressor tools.
Ability to read BOMs and verify part numbers.
Experience with SAP/iFactory or similar systems for confirmations.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to quality.

Responsibilities

Perform non-routine mechanical assembly operations on an assembly line.
Assemble units using visual aids and written instructions to ensure accurate builds.
Prepare parts for box build and final assembly.
Follow proper hardware sequence and assembly procedures.
Document issues and communicate findings through appropriate channels.
