Job summary

Jabil in Memphis, TN is seeking a Mechanical Assembler III to join a team that builds complex mechanical and electromechanical systems for large-scale cooling and infrastructure projects. You will assemble, integrate, and validate subassemblies, read engineering drawings, and work with copper tubing, valves, and fittings to deliver high-quality final builds.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of experience in mechanical assembly or related field.
• Experience assembling large form-factor equipment and complex mechanical systems.
• Experience with copper tubing, piping, valves, fittings, hoses, and fluid handling.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, blueprints, and BOMs.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and integrate complex mechanical and electromechanical systems per drawings and BOMs.
• Install copper tubing and piping systems, valves, fittings, hoses, and electrical connections.
• Work in teams of 2–4 technicians to complete complex builds.
• Verify torque, dimensions, alignment, and workmanship to specifications.
• Support prototype, pilot, and NPI builds as required.
