Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Mechanic to service a diverse fleet of aerial work platforms, pumps and general construction tools. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs to minimize downtime in a safety-focused environment.

This role requires 3–5 years of heavy equipment experience, a high school diploma or GED, and ability to work with hydraulic and electrical systems. Benefits include health plans, 401(k) match and generous time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school preferred.
• 3–5 years of diesel/heavy equipment mechanic experience.
• Ability to use hydraulic and electrical diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnostics on equipment.
• Repair equipment safely to minimize downtime.
• Work on Aerial Work Platforms, generators, pumps, HVAC or oil/gas gear as assigned.
• Interpret manuals and service data; use proper tools.
• Maintain and document service history.
