Job summary

Sam’s Club Odessa is seeking a Senior Meat Cutter to drive sales in the meat department and provide members with high-quality products. You will cut, slice, grind and wrap meat to specification, while maintaining stock levels and controlling shrinkage in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll train and assist teammates, use handheld tools to improve decisions, and uphold food safety and inventory standards. Competitive pay and benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• 6 months’ experience in a fresh production department.
• Able to cut, slice, grind and wrap meat products to specifications.

Responsibilities

• Cut, slice, grind and wrap meat products according to specifications.
• Maintain in-stock levels and manage inventory to reduce shrinkage.
• Educate and assist associates on tools, tasks and resources.
• Ensure sanitation, safety and equipment maintenance in the backroom.
