Job summary

Sam's East, Inc. is seeking a Senior Meat Cutter to drive sales in-store and deliver quality meat products to members. You will collaborate with team members, maintain stock levels and ensure high standards of food safety and customer service.

The role requires knowledge of various meat types, equipment operation, and the ability to use handheld devices to support production and product quality. The position works in a fast-paced, high-volume meat department at a Sam's Club.

Qualifications

• 6 months' experience working in a fresh production department.
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with cross-functional teams and educates other associates on tools, tasks and resources, communicating effectively and developing interpersonal skills for customer service.
• Maintains in-depth knowledge of meat products, equipment, and backroom operations; processes meat according to specifications including cutting, slicing, grinding and wrapping; ensures food safety and inventory management.
