Job summary

Sam’s Club Weslaco is hiring a Senior Meat Cutter to cut, grind, and package fresh meat while upholding safety and quality standards. As a founding associate, you’ll help establish the member experience in a brand-new club.

You’ll work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, ensuring product freshness, proper rotation, and accurate displays, while assisting members and collaborating with the team.

Qualifications

• 6 months’ experience working in a fresh production department.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Cut, slice, grind, and prepare meat according to specifications.
• Ensure freshness, quality, and proper rotation.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and temperature control.
• Monitor inventory levels and reduce shrink.
• Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
• Assist members with product selection and recommendations.
• Provide accurate service in a high-volume setting.
