Job summary

Walmart Sam's Club in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Senior Meat Cutter to lead the meat department operations, ensuring quality products and exceptional member service. You will collaborate with teammates to maintain product freshness, accurate labeling, and efficient service in a fast-paced club setting.

You will handle cutting, slicing, grinding, and packaging to specification, uphold food-safety standards, manage inventory, and leverage available handheld tools to optimize sales and shrinkage

Qualifications

• 6 months’ experience in a fresh production department.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide customer service and educate associates.
• Maintain in-stock levels and control shrinkage.
• Process meat according to specifications (cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping).
• Ensure sanitation and food safety standards and inventory management.
• Operate and sanitize equipment and leverage handheld tools for decisions.
