Position Summary

As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do
  • Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools and tasks, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for excellent customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
  • Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various meat products, equipment, and backroom operations. Process meat according to specifications, ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, and operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
  • Be a Techie: Use digital tools to enhance sales, improve the shopping experience, and increase associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and quality, and encourage others to adopt these tools.
  • Be an Owner: Drive business results by ensuring operational excellence, planning for profitability, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and ensuring product quality and standards. Manage inventory, eliminate waste, secure fragile merchandise, assist members with purchasing, and ensure proper packaging and labeling.
  • Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member experience in the meat area, providing high-quality service and products, and assisting in training team members.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics, and execute business practices accordingly.
  • Complete work assignments by prioritizing tasks, collaborating with team members, communicating progress, and seeking continuous improvement.

The hourly wage range is $18.00 to $25.00, with actual pay meeting or exceeding the minimum wage for the location. Additional premiums may apply based on specific circumstances.

Minimum Qualifications

6 months’ experience in a fresh production department, ability to complete required trainings, and being 18 years or older.
