Position Summary
As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for providing excellent customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
- Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various types and seasonality of meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations. Provide meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation, and inventory management. Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, while encouraging others to adopt new tools.
- Be an Owner: Drive business results by ensuring operational excellence, maintaining a clean and organized work area, ensuring product quality, eliminating waste, and assisting members with purchasing decisions.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing members' experience, modeling high-quality service, and assisting in training and mentoring associates. Recognize contributions and foster a culture of high performance.
Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity. Complete work assignments efficiently, communicate progress, and adapt to changes and feedback.

Minimum Qualifications
- At least 6 months’ experience working in a fresh production department.
- Must be 18 years or older.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in meat processing areas is preferred but not mandatory.
