Position Summary

As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do

• Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for providing excellent customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
• Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations. Provide meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management. Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
• Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, while encouraging others to adopt new tools.
• Owner: Drive business results by ensuring operational excellence, planning for profitability, maintaining a clean work area, ensuring quality standards, eliminating waste, securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise, assisting members with purchasing decisions, and ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and storage.
• Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member experience in the meat area, modeling high-quality service, executing duties at the highest level, and mentoring others. Recognize contributions and support team development.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity standards by implementing related action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and applying these in business practices.
• Complete work assignments by prioritizing tasks, collaborating with team members, communicating progress, and seeking continuous improvement opportunities.
